Are among the feature attractions of the international design exhibi tion "vision and sound" (our photo shows the exhibition theme depicted on the main poster) to open on March 8, 1974 in the Cologne Kunsthalle. Energetic vistors will have the opportunity of trying out themselves m ost of the 550 displayed instruments, all model specimens in funcional design and form. Ranging from spectacles to microfilm intruments to wal kie-talkies, the exhibition will feature nearly every substantial innov ation in the fields of optic, acoustic, and audiovisual communications. The exhibition in the Cathedral City on the Rhine will have items from fiffteen European nations and Japan on display, enabling resonably val id international comparisons to be made. The Cologne exhibition will la st until June 3 1974.
