The Mkamba Mundu-mua Ndeleve on her knees circumambulating the patie nt who is behind her under the blanket. The bowstring and gourd are tap ped with a stick the gourd serving as a resonating box. The music monot onous and repetitive is very attractive. The Mganga may or may not go i nto a trance while playing. The aim behind all this is either for the M ganga to divine what shall be done for the patient or to drive away aim u (spirit)
