TextSubject(s):
The 45 year old journalist relinquished his post as superintendent ( Intendant) of the north German broadcasting network, radio Bremen to ta ke up his new office as head of the "Press and Information Office of th e Federal Government" (as inscribed below the Eagle Seal of the Federal Republic of Germany in the photo background). Bolling received nationw ide exposure as the Washington correspndent of German television. He do es not view his new role as a purely technical one, namely that of bein g the "voice" of the Schmidt-Genscher government. Instead he feels his office requires political action. Bolling aims in his own words 'to cla rify and present the ideas and undertaking of this government". He emph atically rejected the use of the word "sell" in this context.
